(BKN002) Connecta & DNK - Really Nasty / Target - Jailtime Out 18th Dec. 2012
Broken Recordings is proud to present their debut digital release from artists "Connecta & DNK" & "DJ Target".
The European do "Connecta & DNK" have had their music released on Formation, Calypso Muzak, Muzik Hertz, Advisory
and have now landed with Broken Recordings for this next release! DJ Target started his journey releasing his first track
with Devize & Three A's "Wrong Answer" for the Debut release on Broken Recordings with "Relapse" which was featured on 3D Mode's
"Under the Counter Vol. 1 Mixed by DJ Hazard". He then followed up doing releases for Fatman D's Biological Beats imprint, Liverpool label
Raw Recordings and Chronic Records.
A- REALLY NASTY
Connecta & DNK express their darkside style with this deep growling dancefloor
smasher that does just what the title describes "It's Really Nasty!!!"
This track comes with snappy drums with a great percussion to roll with
the beats nicely. The atmosphere brings a dark eerie vibe with a twist of
hip hop vibe to it before the key sample drops. Lest we forget the reese
that follolws the first bassline which grinds through the speakers.
Overall, one of the deepest songs to date by this Duo!
AA- JAILTIME
Target gets deep into the mix with a euphoric yet neurotic intro with sweeping FX,
deep pads and soudscapes. The grinding synths and clever vocal samples that build up before the drop
will keep you on your toes to the very drop. This synthed out bass roller
mixes up with compressed white noise, melodic pads and a filtered synth with
that classic hardware sound.
