Over the last five years Bar9 have become a formidable DJ and production duo, releases such as
‘Midnight’, ‘MurdaSound’ and ‘Strung Out’ cemented their notoriety among key producers and
music fans alike. From 2008 building on a strong foundation of Dj support from Pendulum to Mary
Anne Hobbs they released key singles and remixes for acts including Foreign Beggars, Example,
Eurythmics and Sidney Sampson culminating in millions of Youtube hits, thousands of fans and
hundreds of performances worldwide.
Their signature sound is always evolving whilst holding true to the definitive Bar9 style, earlier this
year they revisited their own classic ‘Piano Tune’, the VIP mix was released via UKF receiving over a
million plays and counting. The track also features on Bar9’s Sound of Dubstep compilation released
on Ministry of Sound this year. The compilation will be followed up by the release of their new single
